I know that relationships with our family elders can get tense at times especially if there is a disagreement with them or when they use their age and positions of power to throw their weight around. They dont care if they make their children angry just as long as they can abuse their position because they can...or so they think...just to get what they want. Their were things and actions I did to my own parents that were wrong and vice versa. Yes I shall admit that as much as I loved my mother her strong and powerful German heritage came out when she wanted something and it did conflicted with me and my father (her husband).
When she wanted something she wanted it now. When she wanted her men home and secure in the house she always was in panic until her babies were secured in the four walls of our home. She was a worry wart but that was part of her strong German oman heritage. It aggravated both father and son at times but when father lashed out against son...strong German mother stepped in. When son crossed German mother even he lashed out and could not see the errors of his ways when strong German mother could not. When my mother passed my dad admitted to me that he was not the best dad that he could have been. Without me he would have tried to kill himself by freezing out in the cold by my mothers grave...thank goodness it did not end that way...but sadly I would watch him die all of a sudden on Christmas Day 2015.
Honoring the authority of our parents is a divine command from God himself but how can you be the loyal opposition to your parents...especially when you disagree? Or does that not matter when you have chosen to conform yourself to a pagan progressive agenda if not a sexual liberation cult? In the case of Megan Rapinoe she speaks for that very pagan agenda.
A few weeks ago Rapinoe was interviewed by
The Guardian. Both the
New York Post and
Fox News pointed out Rapinoes remarks about her father voting for Donald Trump. While her family still has close ties to Rapinoe she did make a damning remark which she feels that her parents need to go to therapy. Why does she say that? Is that out of tongue and cheek or if given the opportunity would she actually send her parents away so that they would become more like her or at least think like her? If Rapinoe does have something inside her about wanting to make her parents into the perfect model citizen that she envisions them to be that can become quite dangerous if not tyrannical.
I have said in a
previous piece that Megan Rapinoe is a despicable human being. Somewhere along the way she was taught to hate America and its heritage and fight for a fundamental transformation of our country that would be more to the liking of those with a progressive worldview that Megan herself has. A world in which the old faiths of Abraham (both Judaism and Christianity) are abolished Free Love (homosexuality is encouraged and marriage is abolished) is legal doing good" whatever that might be is a new Faith coupled with progressive leftism. This thing called doing good is what John J. Dumphy said in his closing statements in his famous
A Religion for a New Age" piece. He also said; It will undoubtedly be a long arduous struggle replete with much sorrow and many tears but humanism will emerge triumphant. It must if the family of humankind is to survive."
Much sorrow and many tears? What does that mean? Does that sorrow means that someone like Megan Rapinoe sends her parents away to be reeducated? Does that mean that her father must disown her rebellious but grown daughter? Does sorrow and tears include the shedding the blood and the breaking of eggs of sorts? Dumphy did not mince words when he called Christianity a rotting corpse" and an enemy that stands in the way of this better and brave new world.
Megan Rapinoe herself might have be just being sarcastic and just wished her parents would like more like her and not just embrace her identity and/or dysfunction but bow down to it. This is how tyranny starts however and depending on who rises to power the law of the jungle really shows its ugly head. Who knows maybe Rapinoe would rat on her parents and have them sent to a reeducation camp or whatever its called at the moment so that they could be modeled int the perfect person that Megan herself is...NOT!!!!
Even though the Bible commands us to honor our parents it does warn us that Jesus Christ and his teachings will divide certain families as certain family members will be loyal to whatever opponent of God is at the moment (Matthew 10:21 Mark 13:12 Luke 21:16). Sadly they may come a time in which we might have to fight among family members and that will include sorrow and tears...but for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ coupled with the advancement of liberty and freedom...it may be something that has to be done and must be done for the sake of Christian Faith and for the true freedom it promotes.
