President Donald Trump went after congressman Elijah Cummings of Marylands 7th congressional district and blaming him for the state of the city of Baltimore. Not all of the citys ills is the fault of Cummings directly (other than bring money to Baltimore) but you can blame the political party that Cummings belongs too for the Democrats have run the city of Baltimore for years. Has Baltimore gotten better over the years or has it gotten worse. I say its gotten far worse and their is no light at the end of the tunnel. If our President says something about the problem and attacks Democrat icons then the Democrats try to play the race card on him. Truth of the matter is that Trump is trying to game the problem (and get payback from Cummings) but the Democrats are foolish to cry racist and never look at their own rods in their eyes...but they never did nor had to for they are conning people out of their money and getting rich in the process.
It should be noted that this all began with an interview on Fox News Channel with Republican strategist Kimberly Klacik (and an African-American woman) who talked about the current state of Baltimore and how messed up and dangerous it is. Yet when Trump reinforces this the Democrats play a tired worn out congame.
It is really a shame when TV police procedurals/crime dramas like The Wire and Homicide: Life on the Street correctly depicted the real everyday life of Baltimore. The Wire was created by David Simon who was once a writer for the Baltimore Sun and spent four years with Baltimores local police and wrote about their stories in his book Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets and that very book inspired Homicide: Life on the Street which was developed by screenwriter film and television producer Paul Attanasio.
If Trump and the Republicans actually have a solution to how many of these cities are ran then they need to offer a proposal and not just attack stick figures scarecrows and hands down Democrat Icons. Ben Shaprio actually gives Cummings credit for stating that he wants to work with Trump and resolve some pressing issues. Mark Levin however points out that Cummings has been on offense regarding tying and advocating abolishing ice and supporting illegals and giving them sanctuary in urban locales like Baltimore. Levin also called out Maya Rockeymoore (the wife of Cummings) who is the subject of
two ethics complaints regarding a charity she runs and how that might be benefiting her hubby.
Meanwhile our Democratic Party press doubles and triples down and tries to make Trump the villain including Victor Blackwell who made a heart wrenching statement on CNN last week regarding Cummings and Baltimore. At the same time he spins Trumps remarks regarding about no human wanting to live in Baltimore. Blackwell implies that Trump was talking about the people that live their. People who are not cultishly loyal to the Democratic Party know better. They are pointing out the issues of Baltimore and other major cities that have been ran down and wore thin by the Democrat progressive cons which allows for the READ rodents to infest and multiply at the expensive of the humans trying to get by.
Could Trump have handled this better? Of course he could but again Trump loves to be blunt and says what is on his mind and tick off the fake news" media as he likes to call them. Meanwhile if a Bernie Sanders says something about the city of Baltimore than that is ok because he is loved by the Democratic Party press...even when Sanders jumps in and out of the Democrat party officially.
The Democratic Party press needs to find out new ways to convince the unwashed masses that the Democratic Party are the party who want to better our nation. Sadly the race card somewhat still works otherwise they would have stopped using it long ago. Instead they continue to uses the old plans of FDR and LBJ and other cults of personality to keep the African-American community and other minorities loyal to the Democrats.
Even if West Baltimore fears President Donald Trump they fear something greater...the governance of West Baltimore itself. You might want to start by holding the Democrats at all levels to account for their long time broken promises and their downright hunger for tyrannical power. That hunger for that very power has been part of the Democratic Party since its very founding. The Democrats also have been criminals from the beginning and that very being is why they allow for criminal activity to thrive in West Baltimore.
