In part 1 I talked about a piece by an unknown writer who I named Mx Liberal as this person present 16 reasons why he/she/whatever is a liberal. I commented on the first eight in the first part and now...
The remaining eight reasons why Mx Liberal is a Liberal
9. I dont believe illegal immigrants should come to America and have the world at their feet especially since THIS ISNT WHAT THEY DO (spoiler: undocumented immigrants are ineligible for all those programs theyre supposed to be abusing and if theyre stealing your job its because your employer is hiring illegally). Im not opposed to deporting people who are here illegally but I believe there are far more humane ways to handle undocumented immigration than our current practices (i.e. detaining children splitting up families ending DACA etc).
The problem Mx Liberal is that you are falling for the typical progressive claptrap regarding this issue. Much the inhumane conditions were actually set up by Barack Obama and his administration. The progressive would rather just give them amnesty and be done with it...and keep our borders open while we get invaded.
10. I dont believe the government should regulate everything but since greed is such a driving force in our country we NEED regulations to prevent cut corners environmental destruction tainted food/water unsafe materials in consumable goods or medical equipment etc. Its not that I want the governments hands in everything -- I just dont trust people trying to make money to ensure that their products/practices/etc. are actually SAFE. Is the government devoid of shadiness? Of course not. But with those regulations in place consumers have recourse if theyre harmed and companies are liable for medical bills environmental cleanup etc. Just kind of seems like common sense when the alternative to government regulation is letting companies bring their bottom line into the equation.
I only believe in regulation in at least one thing. Making sure that nobody harms another and nobody tramples upon somebodys elses liberty. You talk about regulations helping people...they do but it also brings in big bucks for trial lawyers and they vote and heavenly support Democrats. So we need reasonable regulation but their is just some much of out that it is not helping the people but enslaving people and making predetermined winners quite rich.
11. I believe our current administration is fascist. Not because I dislike them or because I cant get over an election but because Ive spent too many years reading and learning about the Third Reich to miss the similarities. Not because any administration I dislike must be Nazis but because things are actually mirroring authoritarian and fascist regimes of the past.
You really think that Mx Liberal? What you dont realize or your flat out lying is that the Nazis were national socialists. It should also be noted that Hitler picked up many of his ideals from iconic American Democrats and socialists everywhere on the planet. The New York Times and Time magazine actually defended Hitler before they turned on him. If Obama or Hillary were doing things that were truly fascist (and I think they have) you would turn a blind eye because;
Your person is office.
You want a world in which government takes care of you and shapes society to your liking...hopefully.
You want to be able to live in your sin...whatever that might be...mostly sexual...and regardless of who that truly hurts.
No youre still not over Hillary Clinton losing. Many leftist felt that their new age would arise with Hillary and it very might have been...but it would turn they way they have hoped.
12. I believe the systemic racism and misogyny in our society is much worse than many people think and desperately needs to be addressed. Which means those with privilege -- white straight male economic etc. -- need to start listening even if you dont like what youre hearing so we can start dismantling everything thats causing people to be marginalized.
Again this is nothing more but the left trying to pit people against each other and coming in to offer the cure. The white man is nothing but the straw man and to most progressives it represents America Americanism and common sense values. You want to strip the local police of its power while the gangs take hold...in the name of raising up the black community. LBJ is still smiling from beyond the grave. The misogyny part is about wanting to do away with not just gender roles of men and women but doing away with the fact that men and women are created differently in more ways than one. Their will always be a certain degree of racism and yes misogyny but the end goal of socialists is do away gender differences along with the family unit. As far as race relations its great for getting power over all of us.
13. I am not interested in coming after your blessed guns nor is anyone serving in government. What I am interested in is sensible policies including background checks that just MIGHT save one persons perhaps a toddlers life by the hand of someone who should not have a gun. (Got another opinion? Put it on your page not mine).
I will not put a counter view on your page and you are showing your ideological colors Mx Liberal. You are using an old argument that the left uses to justify gun control and striping all Americans of their gun rights (as outlined in the Second Amendment). The end game for the left is control of the people. As one of the progressives favorite idols would say; Power comes from the barrel of a gun." Also Nazi Germany supported Gun Control. It helped them kill off...or at least try to...the Jewish people.
14. I believe in so-called political correctness. I prefer to think its social politeness. If I call you Chuck and you say you prefer to be called Charles Ill call you Charles. Its the polite thing to do. Not because everyone is a delicate snowflake but because as Maya Angelou put it when we know better we do better. When someone tells you that a term or phrase is more accurate/less hurtful than the one youre using you now know better. So why not do better? How does it hurt you to NOT hurt another person?
Freedom of Speech is insensitive and Life is insensitive. Everyone is different but we just cant accommodate certain groups without offending another. Their are things we can do within reason it comes to how certain individuals are treated but all comes down to the political correct forever hunting like an animal and when they have finished off their enemies...they will turn on each other...hunting seeking and devowing is all they know. They basically live like the animals. I hate identity politics and I hate Political Correctness. Just a few things that the left uses to control.
Regarding the highly respected Maya Angelou...she might have worked with Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X; but Angelou also hated America and forever played the race card in her lifetime. She also supported Fidel Castro and Mumia Abu-Jamal and many other progressive icons. She also supported never ending affirmative action and the Kyoto Protocol which would destroy the American economy and put many into poverty in the name of saving the Earth.
I like to put a zipper on the mouths of these progressives. They offend me with their language behavior and so much more. Yet they get away with their speech...I Wonder Why.
15. I believe in funding sustainable energy including offering education to people currently working in coal or oil so they can change jobs. There are too many sustainable options available for us to continue with coal and oil. Sorry billionaires. Maybe try investing in something else.
For the foreseeable future coal is still the cheapest and affordable form of energy. The left declared war on coal long ago. While their were legit concerns about health the industry has put its best foot out their to improve conditions. Meanwhile their are those who not only make money on renewable energy but actually made their money supporting coal in foreign lands. Also the advocates of solar panels will ignore the birds dropping like flies because its a conflict of interest and they would rather support solar energy at the birds expense. On top of that solar panels can only work to a certain extent and the free market is not ready to support it on its own feet. A few of the companies that got support during the Obama years bombed out.
16. I believe that women should not be treated as a separate class of human. They should be paid the same as men who do the same work should have the same rights as men and should be free from abuse. Why on earth shouldnt they be?
They are not a separate class of human BUT...they were made differently. One thing the progressives will never understand is the fact that men and women are different...but if youre a Marxist that hates what God himself laid out...I can understand. You want to be able to tell God to forget himself and let the humans save themselves (and get that license to sin). Also they will never understand supply and demand economics even when it comes to men and women. Womens Soccer is still not as popular as MENs Soccer. Also let me bring up another international sport. Let us look at Swimming. If the fans of that sport are coming because they are interested in seeing Katie Ledecky (In spite of her recent setbacks at the FINA World Champions) over the other swimmers male and female...then yes she deserves to make more money than the others. That is how it works...not gender imposed quotas to make women feel good or attack what has worked for so long.
I think that about covers it. Bottom line is that Mx Liberal is a liberal/leftist radical because it thinks we should take care of each other and that government must make everyone the same.
That means you should work 80 hours a week so your lazy neighbor can get all your money. We also have to ignore gender differences which by way was attempted by the Soviet Union.
Again I just think its another attempt to make a monkey (really a MOCKERY) of the God that created us in his image and we just want to rebel from that template he himself created.
The left has long declared war on what is right and wrong and what the created order is.
