Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) Governing Board voted 3-2 Tuesday to adopt a woke history curriculum.
The vote came after a faculty-composed SUSD Social Sciences Curriculum Adoption Committee recommended the books, despite fierce opposition from numerous members of the public.
Scottsdale Unites for Educational Integrity posted on X after the committee recommendation, “A committee of SUSD teachers has recommended adoption of Savvas history lessons that include anti-police rhetoric (FYI –@ScottsdalePD) and teach kids that America is racist.”
Elwood Kuentzler, a staff member for Teacher Course Evaluation, posted on X after the governing board vote, “Well these LIBERALS DID IT! They voted 3 to 2 to adopt this DEI, Anti Police, Anti Law, Curriculum! This goes against the Parents and the Trump NO DEI Garbage in our schools!”
