Sick and tired of the whining by liberals and the liberal media that the Lasarus poem at the Statue of Liberty is somehow a legal mandate I have written a replacement declaration. Please share this. I would like to start a campaign to replace that poem with something more relevant to the 21st century. If you like it pass it on to your representative in Congress. Maybe something will come of it. Here it is.
Never in the course of human endeavor has one nation risen up to declare that every citizen is their own sovereign where the powers of government are subservient to the rights of the individual.
Liberty is the light to freedom in a world of darkness and oppression.
Liberty has a home its called the United States of America.
Liberty is the gift you were born with. Liberty for those here and for those who seek to come here.
Knock on our door with your dreams your entrepreneurship your creativity your hard work and your burning desire to live up to your potential.
If you are blessed to be here reclaim your spirit your goals your ideas your inventions your values and revel in your liberty.
May the sight of this statue always remind you that liberty isnt just a statue or a government or a founding document or any definition or limitation imposed on you by government or companies or society as they are just the guardians of conformity.
Liberty burns in your soul every day and must be expressed -- every day.
Liberty is the spirit that created the statue that wrote the Constitution that founded the government that inspired the companies that brings a free society.
Liberty lives in every one of you.
Let the light of the Statue of Liberty always live in your heart and never be taken from you.
