Questions Swirl Around Democrats’ Takeover of Arizona

Arizona will be a fully blue state due to the midterm election, with Democrats holding the top statewide offices and taking over both chambers of the Arizona Legislature. Democrats have not held either chamber of the legislature since 1992. They already hold the two U.S. Senate seats, and are projected to take most of Arizona’s U.S. House seats as the ballot tabulation wraps up, even in traditionally red districts. However, many people believe there was election fraud, not just in Arizona but in other races across the country.

Maricopa County Republican Committee Chair Craig Berland questioned the validity of the election results. Late Wednesday morning, the day after the election, he emailed Arizona Insiders his concerns. “We are 46,128 (3.53%) voters ahead of the Dems,” he said. “Polls closed last night. I'm having trouble accepting these numbers. 82% of the ‘other’ group had to vote for Hobbs if both main parties stayed loyal.”

In previous elections, Independents have never voted for one party higher than 60%. Exit polls from the mainstream media showed that Republicans voted for Republicans in similar numbers to 2024, so there was no crossover of Republicans switching to Democrats.

Rogan O’Handley, a political influencer with 2.3 million followers on X, coined a phrase for election fraud in Maricopa County, the “Maricopa Method of stealing.”

With most of the ballots counted in Arizona, many Republican candidates were losing by double digit margins. Some of the more honest polls prior to the election showed that the races were far more competitive. A poll from Kreate Strategies for American Encore in late October showed Katie Hobbs winning the gubernatorial race by five points, but under an expected turnout model it flipped to Andy Biggs with a three-point lead.

In mid-October, GrayHouse issued a poll showing the attorney general’s race basically tied, with Senate President Warren Petersen (R-Gilbert) at 46% to Kris Mayes’ 47%. Similarly, Equis Research published a survey in September with Adrian Fontes  at 46% to State Rep. Alex Kolodin’s (R-Scottsdale) 44%.

Republicans’ voter registration over Democrats in Arizona has increased since 2020, and is now at 7%. There was no surge in voting from Independents, who have comparable voter registration numbers to the two parties. Independents generate split down the middle between Republicans and Democrats, so their effect is negligible.

Speculation circulated on X about election cheating and how it could have been done. Many suggested the voting machines were manipulated. Ralph Pezzullo, whose book Stolen Elections: The Takedown of Democracies Worldwide is a New York Times bestseller, spoke to We the People AZ Alliance in March about how he believes it takes place. He said the voting machine software has multiple back doors built into it for hackers to exploit.

AZ Pink Lady, one of the top election fraud investigators in Arizona, provided her analysis. “The numbers look so much like a straight variable flip,” she said on X. “Working theory: ‘glitches’ that required updates after L&A were used to place a script on the system. I believe all the power cycling (power disturbances) were used to install the script/activate it. The script did 1 job:  flip R votes to D & D votes to R with simple variable change.”

Patrick Colbeck, who authored a book on election fraud, said he suspected foreign manipulation of the voting machine tabulators. “An alert poll worker in Michigan has detected a Wi-Fi signal prior to closure of the polls that appears to be connected to a foreign Wi-Fi device inside a tabulator,” he said on X.

One user suggested the voting machines are manipulated to give more weight to Democratic votes than Republican votes. “It’s the algorithm,” he suggested. “Everyone knows that.

A Republican vote gets .65 and a Dem vote gets 1.15.”

Walter Ringfield Jr., a former Maricopa County Elections employee and Democratic activist, was caught on video stealing a key FOB that was capable of reprogramming all of the county’s voting machine tabulators. He had vowed to stop Election Day attorneys. He was sentenced to several months in jail.

Others thought there was fraud with mail-in ballots. Maricopa County Republican Committee Executive Director Chris Handsel told Arizona Insiders that volunteers called voters to cure their ballots, and discovered that multiple voters had not cast ballots.

In Texas, a very red state, the major statewide races and the U.S. Senate race went Democratic. The Democrats flipped the state house for the first time since 2003.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who lost the Senate race, expressed his concern about fraud.  “I cannot accept that the result tonight was free or fair,” he said. “It is simply not possible for somebody with the radical ideology of James Talarico to win an election in Texas fairly. I call upon the Senators and Representatives of this country, as well as our President, to take whatever action necessary to secure our elections, investigate thoroughly and ensure that the results of these elections are fair.”

Numerous people pointed out that Talarico received a surprising amount of votes. “James Talarico got more 'votes' than any Democrat candidate has EVER gotten in Texas history,” Cruadin posted on X. “He got 500,000 more 'votes' than Kamala Harris got two years ago in a Presidential election year. The demographics of Texas have not changed significantly in two years.”

In Michigan, people speculated on X that there were votes injected in the middle of the night to benefit Democrats. “I've been tracking the votes for Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers through the night and I have found that between Midnight and 12:15 am there was a huge dump of votes for Abdul El-Sayed of about 200,000 votes more than Mike Rogers,” said a user known as Joe. “The next highest dump of votes that had a difference increase in votes was no more difference than 17,000 votes. It appears to me that there was a huge dump of votes for Abdul after midnight. We should look further into this dumping of votes.”

Democrats also won major seats in very red Kansas. “There is 0% chance that every single county in Kansas shifted blue,” Miss NFL said on X. “ZERO PERCENT CHANCE.” A few small rural counties went for Republicans.

Some expressed skepticism about Iowa shifting blue. “They really expect us to believe Iowa shifted 24.19 POINTS to the left in EVERY SINGLE COUNTY in 2 years?” asked Callie Allie. She queried Grok, which responded, “No, a 24-point statewide shift is not normal in U.S. midterm elections. It is unusually large.”

The Department of Homeland Security said voting records will be collected after elections and checked for fraud.
