Pima County Republicans Report Missing Early Ballots; GOP Chair Estimates Over 10% Affected

Republicans in Pima County are sounding the alarm about failing to receive their early ballots for the November 3 election. Pima County Republican Chair Kathleen Winn told Arizona Insiders that she’s been hearing a lot of complaints, and estimates that over 10% of Republican voters have been affected based on the sampling of voters she spoke with.

Tyler Bowyer of Turning Point Action posted his concern on X about the issue. “In conservative areas of Pima County we have large numbers of Republicans reporting they never received a ballot,” he said. “In some precincts it appears that more than 10% of Republicans reported that no ballot arrived or delayed by more than a week. I am calling on the Department of Justice to investigate the Pima County elections and USPS in Tucson/Pima county to determine why this is happening. We saw similar explained away issues in 2024.”

Arizona Republican Party Chair Sergio Arellano sent out an email on Monday about the alarming situation. “The Arizona Republican Party is aware of reports from Arizona voters concerning the non-delivery or delayed delivery of mail-in ballots,” he said. “After consulting with AZGOP counsel and relevant parties at the Republican National Committee, we are encouraging affected voters to document and report their experiences promptly. Every eligible voter must have a fair and meaningful opportunity to cast a ballot, and any issue that could interfere with that right deserves appropriate review.”

Master Sgt. (Ret.) Jack Dona, who administers The Conelrad Group, which has extensively investigated alleged election wrongdoing in Pima County, posted about the scandal on X. “The problem we have identified with this issue in Pima County Elections, as well as other counties in AZ is very simple,” he said. “Election officials are hiding behind ‘Process Engineering Errors’ to negatively impact voting in predominantly GOP Districts. It really is just that simple.”
