THE LOSERS AT THE IRS LOSE THEIR MINDS TRYING TO PULL OFF THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE DISAPPEARING ACT IN HISTORY ... THE LIKES OF WHICH HASNT BEEN SEEN SINCE HARRY HOUDINI MADE AN ELEPHANT DISAPPEAR IN NEW YORK CITY AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY
All right folks lets try and deconstruct this amazing magic act by the corrupt bureaucrats at the IRS (Obamas boys & girls as a cynical social worker might describe them).
BAD NEWS BEARS
The revelation came in a typical Obama-administration news dump late last Friday night -- just coincidentally timed to arrive way too late for Americas newspapers & cable news shows to cover the bad news.
Could it be possible that the President and his minions wanted to avoid a weekend backlash against their shenanigans while they plotted to come up with some kind of cover story to justify this latest of many White House misdeeds?
No not possible with these experienced administrators ...
uhm well YES!
After all this is the Obama White House were talking about!
And what went down on Friday?
THE WORST CRASH IN AMERICAN HISTORY SINCE THE DEPRESSION
Well according to the Associated Press: The IRS told Congress it cannot locate many of Lois Lerners emails prior to 2011
because Ms. Lerners computer crashed during the summer of that year.
And just in case youve forgotten Lois Im Innocent But Im Taking The Fifth Amendment" Lerner once headed the IRS division that processed applications from political groups for tax-exempt status.
So how nicely convenient that she wouldnt be able to testify against her former IRS bosses or for that matter against the evasive Obama White House.
And of course the IRS after much stalling & chronic prevaricating finally acknowledged last year that its agents had deliberately set aside applications for tax-exempt status by tea-party and other conservative groups ...
and then they illegally rejected those submissions in order to help Barack Obama win re-election in 2010.
What Congressional investigators have been trying to determine since then is
whether the IRS probes were politically motivated and directed by the Obama White House?
And thats not withstanding the astounding assertion by Americas community-organizer-in-chief that he first learned about the scandal when he read about these alleged IRS misdeeds in the newspaper.
Regardless Congressional investigators were obviously hoping to find out the answers to their suspicions in Ms. Lerners emails.
Which takes us back to that bit of magic pulled off by the IRS bureaucracy the mysterious disappearance of Ms. Lerners e-mail messages because of a coincidental computer crash.
NOT EVEN A SMIDGEN OF CORRUPTION
And recall that Barack Obama has adamantly rejected the allegation that the IRS was used for political purposes. Thats not what happenedhe told Bill OReilly (of Fox News) in February. Rather he said IRS officials were confused about how to interpret the law governing those kinds of tax-exempt groups.
Not even a smidgen of corruption occurred he insisted. And his many supporters in the mainstream press dubbed the charges as a phony scandal.
But the supposition that the IRSs magic (e-mail) disappearing act is indeed
a purposeful obstruction of Congress is supported by evidence uncovered this week by Darrell Issas House Oversight Committee.
And what a surprise!
According to Issa the IRS -- just days before the 2010 election -- shipped a database consisting of
1.1 MILLION PAGES about tax-exempt groups
to the FBI.
And what were these IRS culprits up to then?
Newly uncovered emails show that Department of Justice officials worked with Ms. Lerner
to investigate groups critical of President Obama.
The IRS in other words was asking Eric Holder & friends to engage in a metaphorical fishing expedition for any groups who might be critical of Barack Obama in the upcoming election.
And Lois Lerner in particular sent a computer database of
12000 nonprofit tax returns almost all of which were
filed by conservative groups -- to the FBI for further investigation.
Most important the IRS has since admitted that this database included
confidential taxpayer information -- including donor details for at least 33 nonprofit organizations (again mostly tea party or conservative PAQs).
INADVERTENT PERSECUTION
The IRS still clings to its mendacious excuse that all this was
inadvertent"; and the Justice Department insists that neither it nor the FBI used any information for any investigative purpose.
Yet the longstanding legislation on confidential taxpayer information was created to prevent federal agencies from misusing this very kind of information.
And these latest revelations are a further refutation of Louis Lerners original lie that this IRS political targeting emanated from incompetent staff in the Cincinnati office.
And there is additional evidence that the IRS and Mr. Holder were motivated to go after these targeted opposition" groups by frequent calls for action by both the corrupt Obama Administration and by Congressional Democrats.
Yet remember that it still took
a year for the IRS to locate these Lerner exchanges with the justice department even though these records had been subpoenaed by Darryl Issas Oversight Committee.
And the Justice Department only reluctantly agreed to comply with this subpoena after being ordered to comply by a Circuit Court judge (threatening to bring criminal contempt of court charges against Holder & his cronies if they refused meaning they would end up in the hoosegow if they didnt comply).
Yet the Justice Department has continued find every means possible to avoid complying with this judicial order to provide the requested
information which likely would incriminate the President & his closest advisers.
And now presto we have the amazing IRS magic act of suddenly discovering the disappearance of two years of Lois Lerner emails.
SPECIAL PROSECUTOR
Of course many outraged Republicans are calling for the appointment of
a special prosecutor to investigate all this skullduggery.
But should this actually happen the Obama administration is likely to call in some favors from the Clintons to learn all the tricks Hillary & Bill used to subvert the original Arkansas Whitewater investigation as well as how they managed to turn the public against Congress attempt to impeach Bill Clinton for his well uhm unsavory use of cigars.
A SIMPLER SOLUTION
So why not instead simply use the November election to throw all these scoundrels out of office
electing a veto-proof Republican senate?
It makes more sense to me!
