And did he not insist to the public that the acceptance of the deal need not be based on trust for the President but on the hard facts the nuts and bolts of the deal"?
Facts are now supposed to replace a need for trustworthiness in a trustworthy deal. If the facts are sufficiently written in stone then you dont need to have partners to the deal who are trustworthy. As this writer recalls certain tablets of stone were given to the Israelites and through them to the world. They were written in stone but the hardness of the stone is not what guaranteed the claim of the writings on the stone. Rather a promise-keeping majestic all-perfect I AM" who gave the writings on the stone guaranteed the efficacy of the commands written thereon. Under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) a person can keep his or her doctor and the same coverage. With regard to Obamacare another M.I.T. professor Jonathan Gruber admitted that the administration exploited Americans lack of economic understanding" to hide the fact that ACA was a direct tax on the customer. Despite the legal requirement that Congress be given 30 days notice before releasing prisoners from Guantanamo five Taliban generals held in captivity because of terrorist activities (resulting in the deaths of thousands of Muslims among others) were released for one American deserter. The Administration prevaricated again saying that they did not know at the time of his release that he had done anything other than serve his country faithfully.
Additionally the Administration said that it was drawing a red line" against the use of chemical weapons by Syria. However the red line was never enforced. Also ISIS was declared to be a JV team" but they have proven to be effective against the varsity." Then as violence began erupting in state after state in the Middle East we were told that this was a manifestation of an Arab Spring." Democracy was about to bloom. It was only a matter of time. Something positive was going to come in the form of a greater acceptance of democracy by the Arab world. Years have passed. Do we see a manifestation of democracy or a descent into even greater anarchy and civil strife than we witnessed in the ten years before the breakout of the Spring"?
Despite this fragmentary but compelling list of prevarications we are told that facts not trust makes this a trustworthy deal.

Iran has savaged the U.S. since the Ayatollah Khomeini came to power in 1979 declaring the U.S. to be the Great Satan" and Israel to be the Little Satan." This imagery fit in perfectly with the Iranian Quranic eschatology about the coming of the Twelfth Imam to defeat the Great Satan. Since then Iran has been promoting world terrorism. Hezbollah Hamas and the Houthis are all terrorist outreaches of Iran. Iran has launched terrorist attacks against Jews in faraway Argentina. The government of Iran has suppressed democracy internally by incredible violence and suppression of dissent. They plotted to assassinate a Saudi official in the U.S.
They have lied repeatedly since the mid-1990s about their nuclear program and have hidden sites from IAEA inspectors repeatedly. That is why there were sanctions against them in the first place. Further they are holding U.S. citizens in their prisons on trumped up charges and they are on the State Department list of terrorist countries (yes we have entered into these long and precarious negotiations with one of only four countries so listed). They are on the list they went onto the list because of the horrible hostage taking of American embassy personnel when the present mullocracy took over in 1979 while Jimmy Carter was President. They have never paid one cent in reparations for this dastardly deed nor apologized for this egregious evil conduct.
