The poll asked voters a series of questions that revealed Petersen’s strengths and Glassman’s weaknesses. The final question asked voters which candidate they would choose after learning that information. The gap increased, with 54% choosing Petersen to 10.1% picking Glassman.
Petersen’s campaign issued a statement about the results. “The survey found Petersen’s support grew even stronger when voters learned of Petersen’s conservative record, including his work to secure the border, protect women and girls’ sports, defend the Constitution, and endorsements from Arizona’s largest law enforcement organizations,” the press release said. The campaign noted that Petersen has led Glassman in every poll conducted since April 2025.
However, Glassman has a funding advantage, with about $4 million cash on hand. It includes a $1 million personal loan to his campaign. Petersen has $1.52 million cash on hand, with a $123,500 personal loan. A pro-Petersen PAC has spent over $500,000 attacking Glassman.
