Well-financed by a network of oil-rich patrons in the Middle East the Muslim Brotherhood has also infiltrated deeply into the every key institution of Western culture and society specifically the school systems (public and private) colleges and universities (including all the Ivy Leagues schools like Harvard Yale Columbia and Princeton) political lobbying efforts in Washington D.C. for Sharia-compliant financial services as well as other products oriented to Muslims. Moreover the Muslim Brotherhood has achieved putting members in the United States law enforcement intelligence and military/national security communities.
The Ikhwan has an extensive history of exporting Islamic fanaticism throughout the world and on frequent instances has directly used violent tactics or supported them through agents. It is widely and in my view mistakenly argued by many academics and diplomats that there can never be a military solution to terrorism in general or to the demands of Hamas in particular. Nazi Fascists and Japanese militarists had to be defeated militarily before a diplomatic resolution could be achieved. So too with ISIS and Hamas.
