Massive Memorial Service for Assassinated Martyr Charlie Kirk Launches a Christian Revival

An estimated crowd of 200,000 attended a lengthy, unprecedented memorial service at State Farm Stadium for Turning Point USA (TPUSA) co-founder and CEO Charlie Kirk on Sunday. The theme of the event was a Christian revival, with many of the speakers emphasizing how Kirk, a martyr who was assassinated for his Christian beliefs, would have wanted his death to launch a revival.

Kirk made his Christian faith central to his mission with TPUSA, along with family values. Speakers emphasized that his death marked a “Turning Point” for revival. Pastor Rob McCoy, known as “Charlie’s pastor,” called for those to stand who wanted to become Christians, with many responding.

The alleged shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, reportedly told his parents he shot Kirk because "there is too much evil and the guy spreads too much hate." Robinson, who is in a relationship with a transgender, fatally shot Kirk at an event in Utah on September 10, immediately after Kirk had denounced transgender violence.

President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance and the entire White House cabinet traveled to Arizona for the service. There is no record of this ever happening before in U.S. history, even for the services of previous presidents. Many top leaders in the conservative movement attended and spoke.
