Global warming alarmists continue to suffer blow after blow as more evidence comes out refuting their claims of man-made global warming. The end of 2013 marked the 17th consecutive year without global warming. It is looking to be one of the coldest winters on record for much of the country and the world. During the second week of December there were over 2000 record low temperatures across the U.S. according to the National Weather Service and HamWeather records center. It snowed for the first time in over a century in Cairo Egypt. If anything there has been global cooling occurring over the past decade.
Global warming alarmists preach that man-made carbon dioxide (CO2) is increasing the worlds temperatures so man must refrain from activities that produce CO2 like burning coal and oil. First of all CO2 is not a dangerous pollutant. Plants breathe it. Historically it has not caused glaciers to melt. Global warming alarmists put the cart before the horse when they make this accusation. Throughout history increases in CO2 have occurred after glaciers began melting.
Additionally the world was warmer during the Middle Ages and the Roman Empire. This is evidence that manmade global warming is not the driving force behind global warming.
