Yes Dr. King sought to end discrimination via non-violent protests. BLM has been in the middle of riots in Ferguson MO and Baltimore where sections of cities were completely destroyed. BLM supporters have defended the pigs in a blanket" chant as one which is not representative of the movement as a whole casually dismissing the chant of movement members that occurred at the MN State Fair. However such incendiary is not an anomaly of BLM.The examples of incendiary language from leaders of BLM movement are many but let us examine one conversation in particular. In an interview with Marc Lamont Hill a professor and self-identified BLM activist and Sheriff David Clarke Mr. Hill stated when explaining the purpose of BLM police officers should be held to standards of accountability just like everyone else and the increased number of black bodies which die at the hands of state violence needs to end. It (BLM) means while we regard all lives we cannot exclude black lives."Marc who once gushed about the situation surrounding Chris Dorner a man who went on a shooting spree targeting/killing police officers and families it is like watching Django Unchained in real life" and exciting" continued on this theme of state violence. Mr. Hill stated the argument is it (state violence) happens too often and when it does we dont have sufficient mechanisms of accountability…anytime someone gets killed unlawfully or police officer acts as judge jury and executioner it is too many. I hope you would agree even one would be too many but we have seen dozens of them." We have seen dozens of cases where cops act as judge jury and executioner? This is a stunningly ignorant and completely untrue statement. I challenge any BLM supporter to provide examples of dozens of cases where cops acted as an executioner using unwarranted force against black citizens. Dozens of cases? I can think of three cases since 2012 when BLM was founded. Those three would be situations in South Carolina Cincinnati and Chicago. In the South Carolina incident the police officer shot a black man in the back while he was running away from a traffic stop. In Cincinnati the police officer shot a black man as he tried to drive away from a traffic stop. In Chicago an officer shot a 17 year old black male as the suspect was walking backwards away from the officer. All three cases were unjustified acts of deadly force by the officers. However BLM promotes the myth that such incidents are commonplace and the officers involved face no consequences. This is asinine. In all of the aforementioned cases the police officers were charged with murder. The BLM website states #BlackLivesMatter was created in 2012 after Trayvon Martins murderer George Zimmerman was acquitted for his crime and dead 17-year old Trayvon was posthumously placed on trial for his own murder." In this case George Zimmerman who was a member of community watch in the gated community in which the shooting occurred should not have been following Trayvon Martin around the community. If he felt Trayvon was acting in a suspicious manner he should have called the police. However once Trayvon attacked him force was justifiable. I hold a concealed carry weapon license as George Zimmerman did. If you attack me and begin to smash my head against the sidewalk and I feel my life is in danger as Mr. Zimmerman claimed he did I am using my gun against you. Period. Just because one regardless of race is not armed does not mean deadly force is not warranted. In Ferguson MO protestors rioted and torched a large portion of the city after Michael Brown a black teenager was shot by a white officer Darren Wilson. Forensics proved Mr. Wilsons account of the incident to be accurate. A couple of witnesses reported to police Michael Brown had his hands in the air stating dont shoot" before Darren Wilson shot him. Hands up Dont Shoot" became a national rally cry even being cited on the floor of Congress. However this account did not match forensics at the scene. Mr. Wilsons account of Michael Brown charging him did match the forensics at the scene. As the New York Times reported examiners found Mr. Browns blood or other DNA outside the drivers door outside the left rear passenger door inside the drivers door on the upper left thigh of Officer Wilsons pants and on Officer Wilsons shirt and weapon." If you charge an officer whether you are unarmed or not deadly force dependent on the situation can be justified. This is the conclusion the grand jury came to after seeing the evidence of this case. Hands up dont shoot" was a lie. In Baltimore rioters protested after Freddie Gray a black male died in police custody. The trials of the officers in this case is still being played out. However there is conflicting testimony. Some eye witnesses state Freddie Gray was intentionally attempting to harm himself while he was in custody other accounts contradict. If the police officers involved did indeed cause the death of Mr. Gray they should be held accountable. Court proceedings will decide. Again BLM promotes the myth black citizens are being targeted for death by racist police officers who shoot and kill without consequence. This is not the case. As noted previously in the three recent cases noted where deadly force was not warranted all three officers were charged with murder. However even if that myth were true I dont believe Dr. King would promote burning cities to the ground because of it. I do not think Dr. King would be calling a cop killer a real-life superhero to some" as Marc Lamont Hill did. Nor do I believe Dr. King would be endorsing a march in which the marchers were repeatedly chanting pigs in a blanket fry them like bacon." BLM claims to be an organization working for the validity of Black life" but ignores black-on-black crime. Why the silence on black-on-black crime? If BLM was truly working for the validity of black life they would have been marching on Philadelphia in 2013 when Kermit Gosnell an abortionist was convicted of first degree murder in the deaths of three of the infants and involuntary manslaughter in the death of female patient. Gosnell was also convicted of 21 felony counts of illegal late-term abortion and 200 counts of violating the 24-hour informed consent law. The victims of Kermit Gosnell himself a black male were overwhelmingly minorities. According to Jonathan Zimmerman of New York University writing in New York Daily news when Dr. Gosnell was confronted by an employee about a racial double standard he stated thats the way of the world." I guess it is the way of the BLM world to ignore the validity of black lives in cases of black on black crime and black abortionists killing black newborns while protesting for the validity of black life in cases in which the alleged perpetrator is a white cop.
