The path of history is a process all human civilizations have lived forward in gauging the present then in planning the future and is a must do if they are to survive and advance. In his 1969 Inaugural Address President Richard Nixon noted that in the difficult years of the 1960s America had suffered from a fever of words; from inflated rhetoric that promises more than it can deliver; from angry rhetoric that fans discontents into hatreds; from bombastic rhetoric that postures instead of persuading. What can we ever learn indeed unless as Mr. Nixon asserted we stop shouting at one another until we speak quietly enough so that our words can be heard as well as our voices? Like in 1968 when Nixon won the election America is at a crossroads today with similar sometimes lighter situations (no politicians have been assassinated like in 1968) and yet in other more foundational ways society is crumbling into a null-and-void nihilistic hellscape. For all the technological advances emanating from the Internets provision of instantaneous news coverage and social media human ethical principles and morality have not adjusted accordingly. This has trickled down into woke capitalism the media and academia where the two areas most effected have been language (semantics) and history. Simply put if you control the language and the context of history it is said you control the people. And revisionist scholars understand this perfectly. Historicity as a process (Hegelian dialectic) attempts to explain actions by everyday people from a specific era in history while didactic revisionism critiques the past from certain points of view to deconstruct human behavior from a bygone era or what is defined as modernity before popular attitudes evolved into todays left-wing revolutionary dialogue. Legitimate historians understand nefarious scholars apply language to revise one side of history through a discourse substantiating the new conditions within a revolutionary context by altering our understanding of language through some evolution readjusting human ethics. For example secularists insist that the teachings of Jesus Christ or the Old Testament (Leviticus) regarding slavery adulterous women and homosexuals (John 8:32-34) contain racial misogynistic and homophobic dog whistles which do not fulfill the current dialogue actions or standards of life prior to the 18th century. They fail however to acknowledge human behavior has consequences as a result of some catalytic original sin as with the Garden of Eden. Such a relentless echo chamber demoralizes individuals and there are no such things as simply societies without the individuals inhabiting them. Society by the terms very nature is meant to dehumanize by erasing the faces of souls which are as unique and varied as they are individual. This is why I a historian and realist seeing things as they were and not how Id will them believe history need not be critiqued or editorialized like some mousy mystery novel or a film by Siskel and Ebert. I see proper historicity as a dispassionate analysis of the historical record based on the context of their time period and how it shaped our current reality. Revisionists intentionally manipulate language (semantics) to deprive humanity of any existential purpose or meaning to dehumanize those who dont look or speak like the kind of people in their circles. It sterilizes or strips racial ethnic and cultural variety having emerged from a point of origin through the lens of class warfare. It seeks antagonism where there isnt to drive a contentious dichotomy such as diversity and social justice and therefore the Stalinist concept of dialectic materialism. The conflict between the proletariat and petty bourgeoisie according to Rousseau and Marx is inevitably fluid through the deconstruction of truth as an institution of civil debate such as today with gender identity. We are told that biology and medical science apply language derived from racist white Europeans who categorized it into some functioning structure (or hierarchy) contradicting our instinctive carnal desires. We live in a world built on human willfulness one rejecting the truth or facts based on objective observations that we are told like love or beauty exists only in the eyes of the beholder. Thus for the purpose of defining interpersonal communications among humans not just the laws of motions and conservation of mass and energy conservatism as a subject of natural law is merely the conservation of our reality in human nature through irony and paradox. Whether we like it or not we cannot apply force to coerce individuals to follow the narrow-minded logic of some solitary demagogue whose biases paint the earthly realm as an injustice. Once something happens revising the narrative imposes someones or an institutions truth (will) over the facts. Process then ceases to have any meaning and at that point only the narrative does. Within the Hegelian dialectic is an approach to contradicting ideas serving as determinant factors in their interaction. Left Hegelians as humanists seek to create a new artificial reality and consequently the new man by scrapping the thesis-antithesis-synthesis process for constructing an overarching metanarrative driving the idea of freedom as the absolute and final aim and the means for realising it for failing to incorporate the process of synthesis to deconstruct the Whole epoch as a matter of material and intellectual cohabitation such as the deconstruction of the State as the moral Whole and the Reality of Freedom and consequently as the objective unity of these two elements or to put it simply our unfair world. Furthermore in Hegels language as it was with Newton this dialectical aspect or moment of free thought and reality by which things or thoughts turn into their opposites or have their inner contradictions brought to the surface recognizes that in all sentient life the underlying quality (or presence) of free will which the Left Hegelians reject as an objective reality.
GEORGE TRUMBULL WESTERN HISTORICITY AND JUDEO-CHRISTIAN PHENOMENOLOGY
In his book The Principles of Moral and Christian Philosophy (1740) George Trumbull explained thatThe objects of science are justly divided into corporeal or sensible ones; and those which not being perceived by the outward senses but by reflexion on the mind itself and its inward operations are therefore called intellectual or moral objects. Hence the consideration of the former is stiled Physiology or Natural philosophy; and that of the other is called Rational or Moral philosophy."For Christians as with atheists (whose church lies in the study of science) the same first principles are executed through the same method of investigation induction and reasoning; since both are enquiries into facts or real constitutions." Be they the arts and sciences through the humanities or in the physical realm it is firmly understood that natural philosophy is… an enquiry… into the general laws according to which its appearances are produced; and into the beauty order and good which these general laws produce." The key for conservatives to understand nature in all its aspects is by evaluating its innate qualities and thus rely on individuals to interpret what is sublime and beautiful what does not cut against the grain symmetrically from where Point A (as highlighted) progresses to the right of its natural visible composition (be it molecular or cellular) until arriving at Point B (the point at which what is visibly highlighted can be experienced intellectually through our imagination materially or even spiritually). A canvas for example with no visible physical alterations (that is a surface regardless of its color of origin in which an artist has not drawn lines or shapes to create new forms visibly nuanced or experienced from the original blank canvas) is not a work of art because the artist did not create any new abstract visuals through the intentional formation of highlighted lines or shapes. Art is impossible without the vision and efforts of an artist or the artisan exposing himself to the joys and sorrows of life. Thus if the corporeal world be not governed by general laws according to Trumbull it cannot be the object of enquiry or science. And without the necessary experience life in the corporeal world must be absolutely unintelligible if Nature doesnt always speak the same language to us" based on the instinctual sensual encounters of sight smell touch taste hearing and proprioception. This is in contrast with the directionless postmodern talking points according to Richard Rorty who suggested that To say that truth is not out there is simply to say that where there are no sentences there is no truth that sentences are elements of human languages and that human language are human creations… The world does not speak. Only we do." Yet history like art doesnt speak because history as it was recorded actually happened while art is created in abstract truths requiring the onlookers curiosity and appreciation of the beauty in nature to embrace the orderly structures that define their meaning. Science prudence government imitation and art necessarily presuppose the prevalence of general laws throughout all objects in nature. History time and again verifies these as facts. According to Sir Isaac Newton God created everything by number weight and measure and in so doing civilized people possess the means for measuring history beyond simple interpretations. So what created these measures for the revisionist postmodern atheist without the presupposition of rejecting a priori principles for acquiring and diffusion of knowledge about the process of history and human civilizations progress over thousands of years? After all all civilizations were built from religion. If without the prevalence of general laws there can be no order then here now according to Trumbull is where the life and functions of individuals break down and over time collectively erode civil societies and government once a generation reaches adulthood. Eventually the separate sovereign spheres of the family the community the state and finally the nation collapses beneath the secular rot previously polished with gold. The laws of man have always reflected the divine moral government asserted in the strongest terms. The Judeo-Christian West and the atheist parasites shamelessly purloining its virtues must relearn to embrace and exercise the lessons from Galatians 6:9 to save Western civilization: Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore let us do good to all people especially to those who belong to the family of believers"; for This according to Trumbull is the law in all moral systems and the law with regard to man as he is a rational agent" subservient to the primacy of God in all areas of justice righteousness and benevolence throughout the popular culture and over government and society with regard to this our present state as far as the ends of it require or permit. For these reasons I prefer the interpretation of Americas history in reflection of its triumphs as well as flaws to embody the optimism of Edmund Burke: Applaud us when we run. Console us when we fall. Cheer us when we recover. In other words let history teach itself for Gods sake not the revisionists rewriting it for the benefit of a few.
