COVID-19 Thoughts Part 64: Random Thoughts Aug 2020

My livelihood did not depend on me watching the whole damned Democratic Convention this year.  You think that speeches given at political conventions are bad.  This video convention is bad…really bad, because this sounded more like a five-day infomercial if anything.  I don’t waste my time with most informercials, unless it’s Time Life trying selling me a great big king size completion project.  Never bought one of them by the way.  Also, I have to apologize to the My Pillow Guy (Michael James Lindell) for not watching his informercials.  There is a foundation of mistrust when it comes to informercials.

Man, me say that we need critical thinking skills more so than ever.  The 1975 version of The Stepford Wives pulled off a great job in showing the gynoid wives as something out of the TV commercials of the day.  They made them creepy and disgusting all at the same time.  Man, the scene in which Joanna Eberhart and her new best friend Bobbie Markowe attempt a women's liberation meeting which quickly bombs out after it becomes a real life (movie plot) commercial of sorts for Easy On spray…yikes.  Wait a minute Don, you mean Easy Off spray.  No “Easy On” spray, this is the 1970’s you know.  They were not into product placement in the movies just yet.  If you watched this movie too many times…you get this.  They did not want to pay off the owners of Easy Off at time.  While I can tell you who owns the product now, I really don’t want to waste my time wanting to find out who owned them back in the day.  This convention and more likely the Republican Convention make me scream; “stop the world, I want to get off.”

Speaking of the upcoming Republican Convention, I just checked the TV listings for Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC.  The later two are planning their evening coverage just like they did with the Democratic Convention.  Now CNN and MSNBC played the evening coverage of the Democratic Convention in the clear for the most part without breaking in to make comments and I don’t mean just the acceptance speeches, but the Hollywood production (and I really do mean Hollywood) production itself.  Will they treat the Republican Convention the same way?  If they do, then I would be floored, but if not…that is one big reason why the cable and satellite TV business fund something called C-SPAN…and why we have the Media Research Center and their Newsbusters website to keep on top of bias of the Democrat Party press.  Oh, and Fox News plans to have its blocks of Tucker Carlson Tonight (thank goodness), Hannity (expect for when he allows Mark Levin to rant, I can live without him) and Laura Ingraham (who’s Fox News program is much better than her defuncted radio program) although an hour later.

For someone who has been homeschooled, such kids should know better.  Sadly, if you were homeschooled and you’re involved in the arts somehow, chances are your going to be brainwashed somehow.  Well you should have heard Billie Eilish’s endorsement of Joe Biden before going into her current single “My Future.”  Man, based on how California and New York are in decay, I just don’t understand why people would vote Democrat.  Well Eilish’s endorsement was kind of creepy and sounded like something out of a B grade werewolf movie…only in color.  The Democrats destroy something for something better to emerge, but then again that is what Karl Marx advocated in his time.  People still eat up Marx, only because they don’t want to embrace the true savior of the world Jesus Christ.  Doing that means you going to have to give up you’re Big S Self.  Jesus Christ is still the bad guy…Duh, the Bible tells us so.

Speaking of Jesus Christ being the bad guy, the Freedom From Religion Foundation is late to the party when it came to a tweet made by U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana.  They called his tweet from July 26 a sermon when all he did was just quote Proverbs 3:5-6 out of the English Standard Version of the Holy Bible.  If FFRF had it their way, we would have our faith separated from our work lives and everyday lives as we become basically…functional humanists.  When will we have the guts to call out these Marxists (that’s right, I said it) who run the FFRF and tell them to just “stop it” and “try us?”  The woman that the Gaylor family admire (Anne Nicol and daughter Annie Laurie Gaylor are the co-founders along with prodigal Dan Barker who married Annie Laurie) was a Marxist anarchist herself and basically encouraged women to destroy children that got in the way of their happiness or were not deserving to live.  Our founders thank goodness realized that people who feared God would keep true freedom and liberty alive, and not a group of women who are more interested in sexual gratification no matter what the cost…that includes the murder of the preborn child which certain women admitted was necessary for their principles of lust.
