Those who loved freedom, America, and local law enforcement just wanted to show their support of all the above in Denver, Colorado. They were warned not to come, but they stood behind the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and came to take a stand. Those who hate law enforcement, and likely also hate America and it's founding principles won the fight that day, however. They were able to take down a "back the blue" rally that they loathed and felt in their small minds was wrong.
First of all you can't blame the rank and file police who were at the rally. Their hands were tied (if not neutered), not just by a corrupted police chief, but by Denver's elected officials coupled by the local bureaucrats. Basically these people support the actions of the local Antifa , Black Lives Matter (BLM), and other Communist/Marxist/Anarchist groups that were allowed to take over the streets of Denver.
This was ment to be the sixth year that the organizers conducted this event, honoring law enforcement in Civic Center Park in the heart of Denver. The had their flyers, with local lawyer and activist Randy Corporon as the headliner of the event. This event was suppose to be family friendly with music and food and simply a good time.
However a group calling themselves the Party for Socialism and Liberation were ready to challenge this rally and had their own flyers to let their supporters know about their plan to disrupt and destroy the rally. Their rallying cry was "No Parties for the Pigs!" Least we forget the BLM protesters and their mantra; "pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon," which they chanted years ago. By the way, BLM and Antifa might might have not officially sanctioned this event, but the same people who are part of these groups...they were in the park to crash the party. Count On It. The counter-protesters were encouraged to bring airhorns, bullhorns, whistles, drums, pots and pans.
With the Denver Police likely ordered to stand down and let the counter-protesters do what wanted to do in Civic Center Park, this Party for Socialism and Liberation were successful in crashing the party. Their were fistiofcuffs, and the pro-law enforcement types. (who were mostly in their 40's and 50's age wise) were not able to push back on these young (late teens and early 20's) and useful idiots. Conservative writer and activist Michelle Malkin got caught up in the ambush herself, and even lost one of her shoes. According to Malkin who was scheduled to speak at the Denver really, said was attacked physically by the protesters with batons if not with open hands and fists.
This BLM-Antifa alliance has been successful in taking over the streets in Denver and trashed the city. The state capitol building was vandalized with bordered up windows, graffiti and other vile acts. Clean up is underway but it's reported that it will cost $1 Million to clean it up, coupled with the fact that it will take until winter to finish up.
Steffan Tubbs of 710KNUS in Denver, did a great interview with Denver Police Chief Paul Pazen, and asked him tough questions. It should not surprised anyone that Pazen choose to blame Randy Corporon and his associates regarding how anti-police forces were able to overtake a rally and get away with it, or it came across that way. Pazen was reported to have "linked arms" with the local radical leftist groups.
The local media in Denver can cover up the wicked deeds of the BLM-Antifa alliance, but there are a handful of people that have spoken up and exposed the violence that was committed by the anti-police radicals. They can call them peaceful all they want, but it is a big lie. They have rioted, they have beaten up people, they are full of rage, and while some might have a hard knock life, there are others in the fold that come from spoiled rich if not upper middle class families. These young people had no respect for their elders, thinking they were all in for some greater human rights cause so called.
The one thing I noticed about the George Soros front groups. They are supporting people who basically favor protecting real criminals while those who try to obey the law get it in the neck, especially when "the law' turns on them.
The danger of the youth is that they take the ideals that where presented to them in the classroom (or worse, the parents that would compliment what the schools are teaching) to heart. These change agents make these young people feel they are part of something that is going to make history, and give mankind it's much needed quantum leap. Be warned however, these kids might be setting America if not the whole free world for a great downfall.
