COVID-19 Thoughts Part 29: A 21st Century short story of two cities and two people

The worst of times in the 21st Century. This lockdown that was imposed by so many government officials at the national state and local levels globally has proven to be just another pagan humanist social experiment. One that has harmed so many people except for the experts themselves more/less. This lockdown has won the approval of so many socialist statist humanist minded people not only in government but in media and above all academia. The lockdowns are for the peasants but not for the elite progressives and if they really had it their way; this would become the new normal. This would make a great book. Now a tale of two people in two cites. Meet Neil Ferguson a professor at Imperial College London (aka by its legal name Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine) who is head of the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology in the School of Public Health and is also the Vice-Dean for Academic Development in the Faculty of Medicine. Tucker Carlson finally called out this man and gave him some needed rotten publicity (but any publicity can be made into good publicity you know) on his May 5th program. If anyone is truly responsible for the global shutdown if this economy the blame for the most part is likely on Ferguson. On February 28 fearing that COVID-19 might be just as bad as the Spanish Flu of 1918 (which killed 100 Million people); Ferguson endorsed the China styled quarantine model for the whole world. Most of the world went along with it with Sweden as the known exception. He was responsible big time in helping out with the UKs local shut down program. So what if it was inhumane? He liked it and thought it was scientific" and humane in the long run. Like the song from Metallica Nothing Else Matters." But just recently this punk professor got caught breaking his own quarantine rules so that he could spend time with his Mrs. Jones" who had a thing going on. He knew it was wrong but the bloody passion was much too strong. Ferguson himself was infected and he passed it along to his lover and her family in the process. Again he got caught and had to step aside. Does Ferguson go to jail or prison? I think not...and more than likely will still draw a paycheck from Imperial College. Now let us meet Shelly Luther a Dallas Texas hair stylist; who owns her own business who does not have the luxury of having enough in their pockets to hunker down for months and years. Push came to shove and trying to be a good mother to her children she opened up her shop not only for herself but for others that work for her. She took all the required and cultural precautions but it was not enough. She got in trouble with the authorities and was brought before Judge Eric Moye who is an open Democrat and apparently an admirer of former President Barack Obama. Moye was willing to spear Luther if only she would only say she was selfish and dishonored the will of the State. She refused and like Paul the Apostle so many years ago it was off to jail. Sure Paul had it worse coupled with a death sentence but like Nero Moye and the honor of Caesar was insulted. Judge Moye and The State" must be honored if not worshiped...oh and we have the right to abuse and destroy the lower classes...because its fun it is like a beer buzz and we can do this. The Texas Supreme Court stepped in and overruled this little would be Napoleon Bonaparte. Now who do you have respect for? The British academic whos ideals were popular among the elite in shutting down the whole world or the woman who suffers because of that same academic who was more interested in his sexual gratification during a time he should have practiced what he preached?
