I remember back the day when a saw two multi-media presentations that combined still pics flashing effects and an element of motion picture film at my local high school. It featured brief interludes of hit songs from both the mainstream pop and even Christian music genres. This kind of media production is truly out of style in the 21st Century, but I kind of remember that it was done or featured in part by one of local churches. Now they knew how to get a message of certain Christian ethics and principles out to kids without presenting the Gospel of Jesus of Christ and the salvation message with that very Gospel. The message of one of those presentations was about seeing each other “Eye to Eye” which was also the name of the presentation and was the repeated lyric line in the song The Living Years which was the biggest hit by Mike + The Mechanics (side project of Mike Rutherford who also plays in the band Genesis) which was almost out a year old at the time I saw this presentation.
We now flash forward to 2022 and Huntington High School in West Virginia is caught in the controversy by forcing a group of students to a “Christian Revival.” Some students wanted to go, and teachers either being lazy or just plain naïve forced a group of students to go. The event was supposed to be voluntary and student lead. The damage was done as one of those students that was forced to go Max Nibert, staged a walk out and found an ally in the radical Big A Atheist Progressive activist group, the Freedom From Religion Foundation along with Bethany Felinton, a parent of one of the students who is of Jewish heritage…but not necessarily a partitioner of the Jewish faith.
Side Notes: I do find it interesting that Nibert is exercising his rights and there are non-negotiable. Others scream My Faith, My Choice. Yet FFRF would make sure everyone is forced to get a jab in the name of science (which has become part of the humanist Progressive faith) and making sure that herd immunity is achieved quicker…even if a few eggs get broken (i.e., the deaths of a minority of people whose bodies could not handle what was jabbed and/or boosted into them) so that good can come out from this. It’s always the group and individuality is abolished…except for the tyrants who rule with a iron fist. Lest we forget FFRF biggest passion other than radical church/state separation is the support of Abortion (preborn baby murder) on Demand. They are nothing but supporting the decriminalization of sexual immorality claiming that such morality regarding sexuality is demeaning to women. Once again, women are the weapon to destroy mankind.
Depending on how this case goes, Student led Faith groups in public education possibility could come to an end…at least at this West Virginia High School.
Steve Vaughn, one of the recurring co-hosts on Kevin Swanson’s Generations Radio podcast, agreed that you can’t mandate students to listen to a person of faith without allowing the other representatives of other faiths equal time. The teacher would not be able to do his or her job. Swanson stated that Christian teachers must be honest with their word view when it comes to teaching just that, and it can be done in a public education setting, with common sense principles on stealing, private property, and respect for others without the message of salvation and/or the Holy Gospel. Eventually teachers that hold to a Christian worldview and teach in public education will be forced to choose. Separate themselves from their faith and present a functional humanist worldview or lose their job.
Truth of the matter is that by their own admission, the public education system in America has its official faith and worldview grounded in not only secularism but hands down Humanism which makes man all powerful and all knowing. With so many leftist radicals becoming public school teachers, it is much easier to create a generation of future leaders that will either become slaves of the state and maybe train of them to become leaders of the state that they will worship and become part of. The best remedy would be to abolish the public education system as we know it, but the FFRF, along with Americans United and other secular American progressive activist groups would oppose this and demand that all of us fund their Humanist education institutions with taxpayers’ dollars. Truth be told, public education is not neutral, as it has a worldview and right now its goal to take in every one of every faith and bring them under not only Humanism but the overall religion and political worldview on Progressivism.
Our founders did not want a state church for America, but they did allow for freedom of speech including religious speech. The humanist left twisted Thomas Jefferson’s Wall of Separation and the First Amendment to make Christianity more/less illegal in America, as they make Humanism and overall, their Progressive worldview the official religious faith of America not to mention the overall official political and cultural worldview of America.
If you can, pull your children out of the public education system and become their teacher. If you’re a Christian, you are responsible for passing on the Christian to faith to your kids as they will become responsible when they become parents themselves. The humanist system is going to attempt to mock God’s plan to bring everything under his footstool. Right now, the humanist counter weapon in God’s plan is the Public Education system in which they bring the Christian, the Muslim, the Jew under the banner of Progressive Humanism or whatever they want to call it.
