With all the NOISE surrounding the election and COVID, you may have forgotten what NFL Players represent: LET THIS BE YOUR WAKE-UP CALL.
Look at their behavior year-to-date: True Dummies who push an ideology and don’t appreciate the U.S.A, our Flag or the American Dream – the very ideals which helped make them millionaires. Let’s do our part and continue pushing their ratings down, down, down. Why?
A Useful Idiot is anyone who blindly follows an ideology with little or no knowledge of its meaning; these individuals are willing to do the dirty work but don’t understand “the movement” isn’t concerned about them – just the end result. Hello, NFL Players.
They are ideal candidates for Black Lives Matter (BLM): An organization who considers any African-American shot by the police, a victim. If the victim fights the cop, the police officer is at fault. If the victim shoots at cops, the police are wrong for shooting back. The organization only covers African-American victims. Led by a Marxist who understands a society without police is ripe for radical change.
Even after their candidate, Biden, who may become President through voter fraud, they haven’t stopped their ways; in fact, BLM’s demand list continues to grow. Why? Because they are a group of thugs who enjoy anarchy which only assists their founder’s dream. These thieves don’t care about the overall goal: They simply want to loot, steal and burn.
BLM is unquestionably racist. Only cares about Black Lives. And it makes no difference if the black victim was good, bad or just plain evil. They have the audacity to hold George Floyd up as a martyr; a man who did numerous stints in prison for guns and cocaine. His last was for a home robbery where he held a gun on a woman while the place was ransacked. Or his previous dealings with the Minneapolis police: Where he displayed childlike behavior, uncooperative and would swallow whatever drugs he had on him.
Bowing to BLM, The Minnesota Vikings paid tribute to Floyd before their home opener. Of course, there was no mention of his past or the fact he had enough Fentanyl in his system for an overdose. As a direct result of the drug, his lungs were 2/3rds full of liquid, and his heart was already severely damaged.
So, the Vikings made him out to be a martyr – a modern day Jesus. A man who needed to be honored because he died at the hands of the police. Only a judge and jury can determine whether the police were right or wrong. Not the NFL.
The Vikings were not alone. Every team had a martyr and, as part of their pre-game ceremonies, disrespected the American Flag. The very piece of cloth that binds us as nation. In WWII alone, over 400,000 men and women gave their lives for Freedom over tyranny. The very Freedom which allows grown men to be paid millions of dollars to play a child’s game. The very Freedoms to hold a protest without political consequences.
But there are repercussions in America. Football ratings continue to go down, down, down – an utter disaster. Let’s make them drop even further. And they will continue to freefall until the NFL stops this political nonsense. Fans may tune-in for a game or two, but they will not watch all or parts of the five or six games the NFL airs each week. My belief: Watch ZERO games until they start behaving like Americans; this includes the playoffs and Super Bowl.
In the long run, we can destroy their revenue streams: Television contracts, merchandise sales, stadium revenue, etc. If a network has a sharp decline in viewership, they must charge less for advertising. And the idea T.V. shows have a great lead-in because of the games, now goes out the window, too. Less money for the NFL equals less money for the players.
Surely, there has to be a singular NFL executive who understands: That Fans want escapism – not a civics lesson. Fans aren’t multi-millionaires. Just average individuals who want a couple beers with friends, cheer their team on, argue over play-calling and enjoy themselves. If the politics mattered to them, ratings would be going up.
Players, eventually, will realize they have to make a choice: Either continue to be BLM’s useful idiots with more of the same political discourse or give the fans what they want – unadulterated football.
