As postmodern mainstream pop culture buries Christianity in heaps of revisionist censorship and legal peril over marriage rites and the abortion question science finds itself struggling to follow its lead by applying strict rationalism to explain why they despise and hate the very God they believe to not exist. A friend once said to me how he finds it ironic to suggest that the atheists who dominate the totality of American and Western culture cannot seem to go a single hour without placing God at the centerpiece of their agenda. Just as the ancient Greek sophist philosopher Protagoras arrogantly declared so do todays secular scientific community and postmodern culture now believe that Man is the measure of all things: of things which are that they are and of things which are not that they are not. When confronted with whether the gods exist Protagoras becomes a defiant cop-out artist citing that As to the Gods I have no means of knowing either that they exist or that they do not exist or if they do what they are like and if he did he would demonstrate his faith in them not attempt to quantify them by what man already knows which according to Socrates by way of Plato is nothing.
Meanwhile the Christian theologian and father of existentialism Sren Kierkegaard mocked sophists who each demonstrates that everything is true and nothing is true while Socrates did not stop with a philosophical consideration of mankind but rather addressed himself to each one individually wrested everything from him and sent him away empty-handed. Therefore comparing and contrasting the qualities between Christ and Socrates cannot possibly expand beyond their dissimilarity for as philosophy begins with doubt so also a life that may be called human begins with irony.
Well now didnt the late Rev. Billy Graham spend his life musing on Gods essence? Every pastor? Every priest? Not quite. They never need(ed) to spend countless hours finding new ways to disprove God and the creation of the universe. They live(d) simply on faith saved by His Grace alone understanding well that all that is necessary to understand Gods role in the creation of the universe is summarized in the very first lines of the first chapter and book of the Bible Genesis. Secular humanists in the scientific community however seem incapable of applying their brilliant imaginations into an original narrative that doesnt read like a cheap ripoff of the Word of God.
And perhaps no individual scientist has (recently) stepped into the bucket of fallacy more embarrassingly than the worlds most renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking. You might could say that the haughty atheist is nigh guilty of plagiarism. To read his account of the origins of the universe and his revision of the history of time one might think this in fact is what he has done and jeopardized his own credibility in the process by believing everything he actually says to be the paragon of relative fact.
The first chapter of the Book of Genesis will segue into Hawkings disingenuity.
Just how did Hawking explain the beginning of the universe? Well he wasnt too creative in his latest show of intellectual vanity failing to identify the truth behind what he defined as the singularity that created the known universe at the dawn of what we understand to be time which we apparently have absolutely no clue how to define. According to Fox News by way of Australias News.com network there is no time before time began as time was always there.
It was just different. Yet no physical evidence according to Hawking appears to exist because as Hawking told physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson that amid the almost infinitely small quantum foam of the singularity before the Big Bang time existed in a bent" state distorted along another dimension always getting fractionally closer to but never becoming nothing. And thus there never was a Big Bang that created something from nothing because in a postmodern narrative that could have channeled Nietzsches Being and Nothingness all that we know simply looks the way it is from our point of perspective. No right or wrong morality or immorality or any measure beyond that of man can explain what did not exist before it did.

All the evidence seems to indicate that the universe has not existed forever but that it had a beginning about 15 billion years ago" Hawking says in one of his lectures. After all There must have been a beginning. Otherwise the universe would be in a state of complete disorder by now and everything would be at the same temperature. In an infinite and everlasting universe every line of sight would end on the surface of a star. This would mean that the night sky would have been as bright as the surface of the Sun. The only way of avoiding this problem would be if for some reason the stars did not shine before a certain time." Therefore the darkness required that the singularity give the heavens... light as is chronicled in the Book of Genesis. But furthermore without the singularity to provide order from the entropy in which the universe emerged Hawking states that The density would have been infinite."
And what would govern the day? Nothing. Nothing at all if not God. God simply is. Without him there is only nothingness.
Genesis 1:14-19 informs those of us subscribing to common sense in laymans terms.
Hence God is the Alpha. And because the universe the heavens could not remain infinite there must be an end. And God is that end or the Omega. Furthermore if this preexisting stage of the current universe is described by Hawking as a singularity where all the laws of physics would have broken down and that the state of the universe after the Big Bang will not depend on anything that may have happened before because the deterministic laws that govern the universe will break down in the Big Bang" then the universe as was created by God when he formed the heavens and the earth through the holy spirit ignited a fatalistic chain of events simply formed after he separated the light from the darkness and called the light day and the darkness night and henceforth there was evening and there was morningthe first day.
The Bible has taught of this for thousands of years. The history of the universe and what is defined as time remain unknown in their relationship. We only know that it works and yet doesnt entirely seem to fit in the big world of the physics we experience nor the weird world of the subatomic. Attempts to quantify God once again fail after Hawking could only define in part the theory behind the shapeless entropy from which the universe was created by separating the light from the darkness. All it took the academic field of modern physics a secular root of science filled with skeptics about creation and substantiation under the laws of nature were about 15 billion years to evolve and consider the presence of power infinitely more profound and greater than the natural state of gravity. Therefore science for all its wonders remains settled on everything but what it exists to do: study the state of nature. And there scientists and politicians still havent scratched the surface.
And all I needed was my faith in His Grace.
