Almost 4,500 Fill Church at Trump/TPUSA ‘Build the Red Wall’ Rally in Phoenix

Almost 4,500 people attended a “Build the Red Wall” rally on Friday in Phoenix sponsored by Turning Point Action featuring President Donald Trump and several other prominent Republicans. Held at the Dream City church, the rally provided support for several Arizonans running for election office this year. Supporters started lining up at 7 a.m. for the noon rally, waiting in a long line in Arizona’s heat.

Conservative pastor Tommy Barnett, who opened the rally, received laughs when he said a woman told him he looks like Joe Biden.

During Trump’s speech, much of the audience remained standing for the first few minutes. Only after people behind them started yelling, “Sit down!” did most of them sit. However, about 50 attendees never sat down during the entire speech.

Trump said if he hadn’t won the election, America would have become a third world country. He spoke about the attack on Iran, and said Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. He listed off some of his accomplishments, including decreasing the murder rate to its lowest in 125 years and expanding U.S. oil production, which now produces more oil than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined.
