This recent Christmas Eve, I attended a Christmas Eve service at the local downtown Anglican Church in Colorado Springs. Father Don pointed out the decline of the Christmas Faith in America. In 2007, 78 precent of people claimed to be Christian, but today that number dropped to 63 percent. Church Attendance is now at 50 percent post COVID-19 pandemic. Also, people that claimed to pray daily is currently at 45 precent. The secularization of America is progressing and moving forward indeed. Yes, the Christian Church has failed to actively address this decline big time.
However, sadly Father Don and many others went along with the government shut long and now, his church is beginning to focus on its recovery. By no means has it has died out…but certain people may have lost faith or even lost respect for Father Don. All because our government took the advice from doctors who believed that lock downs and isolation from each other for months on end would end the pandemic and prevent the hospitals form filling up. Worse, people like Father Don obeyed the government’s decree and said we need to have to time to be separated from each other. Where in the Bible does it say we need to that…and ultimately the forsaking of the fellowship of believers was allowed to take place and certain people fell astray? Unless its proven otherwise, you don’t forsake the fellowship of the believers in Jesus Christ. You are basically allowing the devil himself to gain power. There is power in the groups of believers and if there is enough of them, they can truly pushback against the devil and whatever he is using to forward the eventual destruction of a people and culture.
Matt Walsh in one his recent podcasts declared that the churches that choose to lock down was a statement to its attendees and then some that you do not need the church no more. Who did the church fear more? God or the State? Sadly, too many churches feared the State and closed down…no need for the church and basically, they shot themselves in the foot. Certain churches did it to themselves if they choose to take the focus of Jesus Christ. Regardless if the churches are mainline or evangelical so-called.
This COVID-19 pandemic does not help the Christian Church at all, and should be a major concern to the conservative movement. If any conservative or limited government type supports the likes of Americans United (for Church and State) (AU) or the Freedom From Religion Foundation, you are funding and supporting your own demise. Most of these people who formed these groups are not just atheist or so-called free thinkers, agonists and skeptics, these people more likely than not are also Big Government Statists and/or anarchists that advocate for the ideals of Karl Marx along with those who came after him. People that call themselves Humanists are more likely to support Big Centralized Government themselves and make that very powerful state "God." Plus, they don’t have a problem taking the lives of innocent people (especially abortion) for what they call the greater good. They don’t care if a vaccine injures and even kills people. What matters is that the omelet is finally made, and that it tastes great…you know…break a few eggs to make that very omelet. Yes, the so-called humanist will murder his/her own in order for good to come out of it.
Ronald Reagan was right. There is a big difference between those who READ Marx and Lenin and UNDERSTAND Marx and Lenin. Those who read choose to sympathize with the two, but those who truly understand them know beyond reasonable doubt that their worldview is evil, self-destructive, and causes great harm to people. So what if Karl Marx claimed atheism, he still had a fondness of the devil and destruction.

All of these quotes were written by Marx himself. The FFRF has their admiration for this advocate of statism, which most modern-day statists look up too. These people want their sin license really bad, and only the discipline of Judeo-Christianity stands in the way. Now the church has been asleep at the wheel, and/or has tired too hard to be like world on certain things. No more games church, we can try harder to understand God’s Word more so than we have in the past (me included). We need to first have pastors and teachers that teach the full account of the word of God, regardless if that is done in three years or five…it needs to be done.
The classic liturgy is great, and getting back to basics of hymns, choirs and congregations singing in unison with song books and hymnals in hand (making the music director feel warm all inside), lessons (scripture reading from the Old Testament, the Letters or Acts in the New Testament), and partaking in the Lord’s Supper. Buts it’s all meaning less without good and sound teaching of God’s Word. We need a bigger revival in the 21st Century. The Jesus Movement in the early 1970’s was a revival of sorts, but powers of darkness was and still is making progress (Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton anyone?). It can not be a fluke, it must usher in great change and truly push back against the gates of hell…if not, then it’s a bust and the Nones will grow and the FFRF types will evangelize them to become their shock troopers, and build an America that not even our founders envisioned…did Thomas Jefferson want a nation built on Marxism?
Many of Jefferson’s admirers truly do want that kind of America. At least it will give them a license to sin…especially when it comes to sexual relations and power…and not just homosexuality but the continuation of the transgender movement and abolishment of gender differences. Also if and whenever possible, these same God haters will attempt to murder God...is that the eventual battle of Armageddon that they are actually making possible to happen down the line? Anyway, if you somehow murder God, then you can't be held accountable for breaking his law, and you can sin all you want...right?
