Time for another random thoughts piece. I shall begin with a compare/contrast with a science fiction story and the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The classic Doctor Who story Logopolis, was the swan song of Tom Baker, the fourth actor to play the namesake alien character. In the story The Doctor as he normally called, travels to a planet called Logopolis, who’s people were advanced mathematicians and were also instrumental in keeping our knew universe from mortal collapse. The Doctor goes to the planet in spite of knowing that his arch enemy The Master is on the move and plotting his next move, but what was his move? We soon learn that The Master attempted to conquer Logopolis by using a counterwave to shut down the planet or to use a different term…a lockdown.
In spite of the warnings given to The Master that he is killing the citizens of Logopolis, the evil time lord demands why they created their version of an Earth based satellite dish sending signals into outer space. The Master learns too late that the Logopolis version was created to push back on universal collapse and now has ushered in the end of the universe. Of course, The Doctor finds a way to stop this by using that very dish on Earth, but thanks to The Master making another attempt to conquer the universe it cost The Doctor his fourth life, and usher in youngest Doctor at the time Peter Davison (Matt Smith is now the youngest actor overall to play the Doctor).
Science Fiction may be grounded in lots of humanism and secular thought, but common sense and Judeo-Christian rules and values seem to bubble up from time to time. A second lock down if declared by our governments on either the state and federal levels could usher in a Logopolis destruction. If that very destruction happens, take heart for God is still in control. Meanwhile, the left will not learn its wicked lessons. Rather they will double and triple down and demand more power coupled with encouraging you to vote Democratic. It is what they know best, and the useful idiots who can’t or don’t know how to take care of themselves will follow them…even to their own deaths.
Just remember the promise to “take of you” goes both ways…positive and negative. To understand the negative side, watch the Godfather movies or the Power Rangers episode Crown & Punishment. It took five minutes or less for Logopolis to die. It will take longer for America to die from a lockdown but if a second lockdown happens…expect that one to be permanent as the government bureaucrats will use it to kill off middle America and small business.
I have been hard on Freedom From Religion Foundation in many of my pieces and for a good reason. They claim to be freethinkers and those who are non-religious. But here is what you need to know. They are front group for the left. They only came into existence not just to fight for special rights for atheists etc, but their overall goal is to protect Roe vs. Wade and abortion right/preborn baby murder overall. The Gaylor women Anne Nicole and her daughter Annie Laurie were radical feminists at heart not to mention pro-aborts. Long before Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks and actress Michelle Williams admitted that their own respected abortions freed them from motherhood at times when they did not want it along with women who admit, it was the Anne Nicole who declared Abortion Is a Blessing. While Anne Nicole did not make abortion more acceptable, Ruth Bader Ginsburg did and FFRF to no ones surprise honors her legacy. It has also allowed women to be truly sexually liberated and to finally admit that they love the sexual pleasure equally if not more so than the men. God still says we are created in his image, and thus the reason to abolish the Judeo-Christian faith so that we can put out those who get in the way of our Self goals. Speaking of Self, it will only show that Humanism is not humane at all…its about a few who want to have power over humanity…no different than Lucifer. Humanism demoralizes humans.
Our media old and new is doing whatever it takes for the Democratic Party blue wave. So, what if Hunter is a scum bag, just like daddy dearest. The major media is now more committed to this brave new world that was advocated in such songs like John Lennon’s Imagine, or the children’s choral anthem Dream a Dream written by Ed Robertson, sadly its the theme of my local children's chorale. The later leaves out the religious bigotry but asks the parents to dream of a brave new world united in humanity.
Regardless of either song, the only way you get to this kind of unity is submission to the state…period. Those who push back either get mocked (ask actress Kirstie Alley) or banned from FB, Twitter, etc. Dr. Scott Atlas just felt the wrath of the new media police. The media still gives cover to Dr. Tony Fauci. In the end, Progressivism has officially become although not yet declared the official religion of America…and the emerging New World Order…whenever that happens. We just need Joe Biden to win, and then he gets impeached allowing Kamala Harris to become the true modern-day Jezebel, and the new meaning of sleeping her way to the top of the food chain.
