COVID-19 Thoughts Part 63: Democrats benefit from dysfunctional minorities

The one thing I have realized about the left and their defense of the likes of George Floyd really comes down to one thing.  Oh, sure there is the vote buying and harvesting that benefits America’s great secular church and political operation called the Democratic Party; but growing up I did not want to hate black people or brown people or red people or yellow people.  No, but it seems that the progressive left in general seems to allow certain people (especially blacks) to live comfortable in whatever dysfunction they are in.

I grew up among minorities in the schools I attend.  Some were unruly but others were wanting to better themselves.  Just recently I truly looked at race relations from both sides…and unlike Joni Mitchell (and/or maybe Judy Collins who had the most popular recording of the song) I can say that really know race relations better than other people.  I admit to using the race card against certain black people and others who were dysfunctional with me and others, I got in trouble for it, while the hands of the managers of sorts (teachers and school administrators) were tied up.

Looking back and seeing how our media milk the death of George Floyd to spark riots…it’s my conclusion that the Democratic Party benefits from minorities who the Democrats themselves can make comfortable in their dysfunctions…whatever they may be.  Just another way that the Democrats promise “to take care of you” forever and prove to the body politic that they are once and for all, the party of the common people.  We all have some kind of dysfunction.  Some are more server than others.  Sadly, the progressive left attempts to capitalize on this, and it only makes our communities less safe as they try to get us through our bleeding hearts.  However real blood tends to get spilled when you’re walking on egg shells trying to keep certain people from coming on the playing field with their self-destructive ways.

But let us look into the George Floyd story, especially now that we know “the rest of the story” (to quote the late Paul Harvey), or another side of the story that was in fact kept from the general public.  Thanks to Minnesota judge Peter Cahill, the police body cam footage had to be released for everyone to see.  While this may not get the police officer in question “off the hook,” the video does show that Floyd was indeed high on drugs and his cry of “I Can’t Breathe” was made long before the cop took a knee to Floyd’s neck.  Perhaps if Floyd choose to actually obey law enforcement, there might have been a chance to save his life.  His statements on being claustrophobia proved to be misleading since he did not have a problem being in the driver’s seat but hated the back of a police officer’s car.   Sadly, Floyd himself shares the blame in his own death, just as the police officer who took the knee to Floyd’s neck.  The reports on George Floyd did point out that he was a criminal and a flat-out dysfunctional person.  If some people had it their way, law enforcement would have to let Floyd go and his white color crime be forgiven…coupled with his drug impairment.  This would be Floyd’s so-called justice and the expense of an injustice he committed.  Floyd’s death however, fits the Democrat Party press’s media narrative and it is used it to embolden their allies in the Black Lives Matter organization, Antifa, and those who support them.  Their agenda has shown that they support the looting of major communities, and promising the dysfunctional that it’s OK to be such.  It only endangers those who abide by the law and try to make on honest living regardless of skin color.

Speaking of endangering those who abide by the law, let us go to Wilson, North Carolina where a five-year-old child by the name of Cannon Hinnant was shot and killed in his own yard by his next-door neighbor.  Hinnant was a boy born white, but the man who pulled the trigger was a 25-year-old black man.  It seemed that Hinnant provoked the neighbor who went into his yard without his permission, but I ask you, did you ever go into someone else property without their permission when you were a child?  I admit to doing similar acts myself as a child, but thank the Lord above that these neighbors did not have gall to find out where I lived to blow me away.  Sadly, the man who killed Hinnant was somehow triggered and decided to come over the Hinnant home just to kill the boy who violated his space.  Regardless if this man’s skin color, or his dysfunction, he needs to be brought to justice for taking the life of someone he had no right to take.  Because the murder of Cannon Hinnant does not serve the purpose of advancing the leftist progressive agenda and/or Democratic Party narrative; the only publicity for this tragic real-life story was from the local media outlets that reside in the nearby Raleigh–Durham metroplex.  While CNN, MSNBC and even Fox News (with certain exceptions) have doubled down and give the Hinnant little to no coverage, conservative to right leaning media sources (including Daily Mail, Conservative Review, and Daily Wire to a lesser degree) have given it much needed publicity.  We got the name George Floyd drummed into our heads.  It is up to us, to make sure the name Cannon Hinnant gets drummed into the heads of the American people as well.  The parents hands down will not riot and loot in memory of their five-year-old son…unlike those who have done it in memory of George Floyd or were triggered by the events of Floyd’s death.

There are so many black people that were law abiding that lost their lives.  So many black children that lost their lives.  Sadly and shamefully, they just don’t fit the narrative of the national Democrat Party press, unlike the dysfunctional ones who had their lives taken because someone felt that they were a danger to their own lives or in the case of Floyd who was high on drugs and would not cooperate with local law enforcement.  It’s the progressives themselves who have allowed the dysfunctional people of color for whatever reason to allow these people to go on and make others in the room, if not the greater society to be uncomfortable, if not flat out scared.
